Fans of Elizabeth Strout will love Alfred DePew

Alfred DePew has delivered an elegant collection of stories. The fine-tuned descriptiveness in his writing is thorough, yet simple-- subtle with nuance in one thought and smacking you in the face in the next. He writes with a vividity that I can see and feel and taste and hear and smell. His characters are brilliant-- expressive through the stumbling conversation of life. Fans of Elizabeth Strout will love this book. Bravo!
