Father David Scotchie is a priest of the Diocese of Orlando, Florida. Ordained in 1993, he has founded a parish and served as the campus minister at the University of Central Florida. He has a doctorate in preaching and is a contributor to The Florida Catholic newspaper. .

This is an excellent book. The simplicity of the message is very thought provoking and truly underlines the great, deep theology of the message. It is a book that once started, it is almost impossible to put down. The message really resonates deep inside and provides comfort and hope in any moment of difficulty. I have the pleasure of actually being a parishioner of Fr. David and his message truly inspires. I recommend this book to anyone, from someone being on a difficult time to someone looking for what the path should truly be. It is an easy to read book with a very deep message in it. It is impossible to read it and not wonder.

Wonderful and simple

If you are like me, one of the biggest hurdles in growing my relationship with the Lord was learning to trust in him and let go of my worries. This book describes a simple prayer that sums up some "whats" and "hows" of letting go and trusting in God. Father David uses scripture, pastoral experiences, funny anecdotes, and easy to understand theology to help the reader understand God's love a little better. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to grow their faith.

Simple and easy read, but powerful message!

I usually judge a book by its fruits or the message that I actually remember from the book. The message of the book is in it's title, seems simple enough a concept but one that to achieve fully is a lifetime endeavor. If we can grasp and apply the concept of admitting we can, that God can, and to surrender fully, then we will see each other in heaven as Saints! This book and it's message will stay with me for a lifetime, thanks Father David
