KidsRights The KidsRights foundation, established in 2003, promotes the wellbeing of very vulnerable children across the world and advocates the realisation of their rights. They achieve this by directly helping children through local projects. Since 2003 Kidsrights has for example supported the Indian organization BBA. With KidsRights they have rescued thousands of children out of slavery. The 2014 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to BBA-founder Kailash Satyarthi. Another mission of KidsRights is to let children make themselves heard, so they can stand up for their rights. Patron Desmond Tutu: “KidsRights gives a voice to the voiceless.” The most prominent podium of KidsRights is the International Children’s Peace Prize. The latest advocacy platform of KidsRights is the Youngsters. It unites the Children’s Peace Prize Winners who put current children’s rights issues on the global agenda.
