Sally-Jane Cameron has an eye for beauty, both in knitting and scenery. I knew nothing about South Africa apart from reading an epic novel about the Boer War many years ago, and knowing about Nelson Mandela and apartheid. What a gorgeous bit of country side has been photographed in this book. That's the travel part which I so enjoy. Then there is the talented designer with an eye for beautiful knitwork and useful garments. This book makes it hard to decide which will be the first garment to caste on.
I wish there were more books combining beautiful places with knittables. Thanks for your vision Ms. Cameron.
