About the Author
Luis E. Inigo Fernandez (Guadalajara, 1966) holds a degree in History. He has been teaching this beautiful subject to teenagers for over fifteen years, but at the same time he has developed a growing interest in research, and as a result of the latter, he has written many articles about the Second Spanish Republic, as well as books on history, such as Francisco Franco: The Obsession to Endure, and also Brief History of Spain volumes I and II, Brief History of Alchemy, Brief History of the Second Spanish Republic, Brief History of the World, and The Questioned Spain, all of them published by Ediciones Nowtilus.He has also written some works of fiction, such as: Liber Hyperboreas (Nowtilus, 2013).

Un buen libro para conocer mejor el tema.

Luis Iñigo Fernández me ayudó a entender mejor como fue que la tan sonada Armada Invencible fue vencida por una fuerza naval que en "papel" se veia inferior. Cuando estudié este tema en la escuela solo nos dieron los pormenores de los hechos y el resultado final: la victoria de Nelson, el inicio de la caida del Imprerio Español y el nacimiento de la Gran Bretaña como potencia mundial. Todo esto es correcto, pero hay sucesos y decisiones que se dieron lugar muchos años antes. La derrota de los españoles no fue casualidad, fue la astucia y vision de los ingleses que planearon su estrategia a largo plazo. Traflagar fue solo consecuencia de una España que estaba dorminda viviendo de sus glorias pasadas y alinazas equivocadas con Francia. Hay que leer este libro para conocer mejor los hechos.
