Powerful truth in bite-sized pieces!

Have you ever returned to a restaurant after a period of time away and said 'why don't i eat here more often??' That is how i feel every time i discipline myself to keep this devotional in my rotation. This is not a fluffy devotional that will give you an excuse for not growing...this book is a collection of bite-sized insights aimed to empower growth, acceptance and a greater understanding of God's love. And Kurt does in this book (as he does in all his books) what he is famous for... giving you a smile while he presents you the truth of the Kingdom. About the Author
AJ Arthur is a pseudonym for Rebecca A. Cass, Molly J. Brog, and Dennis Arthur Cass. After many summer visits to the Hood Canal area in Washington state, they dreamed of writing a murder mystery set in that locale. The three committed to write each Wednesday night and described the experience as three hours of eating and laughing and one hour of writing. Nine months later, their first novel, Homicide on the Half Shell, was born. Life happened, and Dennis and Becky moved from La Grande, OR. The manuscript gathered dust for 19 years. Upon urging by Dennis and Becky’s son, Brandon, the three resurrected their manuscript, revised, and published it. Now, meeting frequently to write, the trio have written a sequel. After sampling all the recipes in this book, the authors had to go on a diet, so these days, they do four hours of writing and laughing on their evenings together because they’ve been on a diet and exercise program. They live for the permitted 100- and 150-calorie snacks between each healthy meal. Dennis and Becky live in Vancouver, WA, and Molly lives in La Grande, OR. They are currently eating low cal, laughing, and “plotting” their next Graham Spencer novel which will be set in Alaska.

I loved the book

I loved the book. There are lots of twists and turns in it. It draws you in and makes you feel like you are there. I thought I had the mystery figured out BUT no. It was very hard to put down. Great book and I highly recommend it. Can't wait for the next book.

Practical, interesting and all-up a great guide to Sydney

Awesome guide to exploring Sydney. Instead of only focusing on the major icons you're probably already fully aware of, Luke does a fantastic job of highlighting some of the other great things Sydney has to offer, from pubs to entire suburbs! The format is easy to read and the content is extremely useful. I find most guide books give bland overviews of locations/places and I usually finish feeling like I hadn't learned anything remotely practical or interesting - this guide is definitely an exception! Luke's writing style and suggestions come across as genuine, funny and extremely practical - definitely worth a read :)

After reading the Family Freedom Project by Liisa, I couldn't wait to get my hands on more of her work. She provided practical advice in her first book and this book takes that one step further by introducing you to expats in Costa Rica.
