About the Author
Father James Bromwich was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky in 2003 after having received a Master’s of Divinity degree from St. Mary of the Lake University-Mundelein Seminary. He subsequently received a Licentiate in Sacred Theology, writing his thesis on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the New Evangelization and the Laity in Light of Contemporary Culture. Prior to ordination, Fr. Bromwich earned an Master’s degree in International Conflict Intervention/Humanitarian Intervention from the Patterson School of Diplomacy at the University of Kentucky, an Master’s degree in Catholic Thought and Life from St. Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Arkansas. Fr. Bromwich’s areas of particular interest include human dignity and vulnerable populations, the violations of natural law and human dignity and how these have (and continue to) generate genocides and mass atrocities, as well as biomedical ethics. After serving as a Parochial Vicar for one year, Fr. Bromwich served as Administrator and Pastor of three parishes for six years in South Central Kentucky. At the invitation of Bishop Kevin Rhoades, Fr. Bromwich and Fr. Daniel Whelan moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2012 to form a new community of priests and brothers in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, with a focus on the New Evangelization, especially with families, and promoting the dignity of the human person. Fr. Bromwich is currently an Adjunct Professor of Medical Ethics at the University of St. Francis, part-time chaplain at St. Joseph Hospital and President and Founder of The Neri Institute (named after St. Philip Neri, dubbed the “second apostle of Rome”), a think tank dedicated to promoting the dignity of the human person and the New Evangelization through teaching, scholarship and the media.

Valuable resource for all interested in Evangelization

Fr. Bromwich has written a clear, concise work which addresses the fundamental aspects needed in talking to the culture in which we live. We do live in a post-Christian era: people have heard of Christ, but they often don't know Him in their hearts, so when His name is spoken, they are quick to dismiss it. Fr. Bromwich gives us tools to use in evangelizing that address longings in the heart which are basic to all people, such as true happiness or true love. Readers will come to understand the necessity in addressing these longings found in all people and once people have been touched and recognize that these longings cannot ultimately be found upon this earth, their hearts will then, hopefully, be ready to hear the message of Jesus Christ, who is the One who can fulfill these ultimate longings. I was present at a workshop which Fr. Bromwich gave to young adults on this issue of evangelization. They quickly saw how important and vital it was to address these fundamental issues with those to whom they minister. I highly recommend this short, concise, and valuable book which helps to promote the New Evangelization which St. John Paul II so often discussed.

How can I share my faith with others? Read this book!

Many people ask the question "How do I share my faith with others?" There are books out there that have theories and encouragement, but this book is unique in giving concise topics for discussion and particular questions to ask to get the ball rolling. When someone asks me how to speak of faith to my friends, co-workers or family, I'll hand them this book.
